The start of the war.

The sun was hot. As was the river. The masked dweller was just drinking a little, when the water started bubbling, and something emerged from it. "Hm, thats not a mortal creature." The masked one said. He made the movement of grabbing a sword, and one apeared in his hand.

the rose up in a humanoid form, with its giant hands it swings at the masked man.

the shots of a gun ring through the air, two bullets dissolve on impact making huge amounts of steam. its now distracted.

The masked man jumped, landing on the arm. Seeing he was goin right through it, he created a sandstorm. He then then Ran up it, he then swung his stanf and a sandstorm flew at the Giant. The masked man the jumped and threw a knife staright at its eyes.

being made of water the knife went through the head and stuck into a tree behind it. the sand from the sandstorm mixed with the water making a heavy sloppy mud. the water as now mud, three more gun shot rung through the air, on impact less steam was created but patches mud had become stone dry.

The masked one ran and jumped over the giant with the help of a ghust of wind. He then threw his staff tha turned into a huge bolt of pure heat. The masked man had done that in the purpose of totaly drying out the giant.

the demon solidified and became stuck in place, but due to the water in the river has dried up, slowly it was flowing back into it. among the trees there was a click, then huge blasts of wind came from all angles, carried along the wind was a playing card, the joker. the card stuck into the head of the demon cracking it....then it exploded into a ball of fire.

The demon was hurt, but not badly. The masked man tried to completly destroy it by using a avatar around his hand only.

the hand of set replaced the masked man's own through a bath of black flames. the claws sliced through the dried mud like butter, the demon fell down as four main pieces and landed on the river bed.

a man stepped out of the trees, he was putting empty bullet shells into a revolver. "now im sorry for cutting in on your parade," he said "but that looked like too much fun for me to miss out on."

"Who are you? You helped me with this, demon, but that doesn't prove anything!" His staff reformed out of the heat and sand that remained from the battle. He started scanning the suroundings just in case. "Are you a servant of Apophis?"

with a flick of his hands as if doing a magic trick his gun was gone but replaced by a deck of cards fanned out. on the back of each the eye of horrus worked into the art design of each. "your asking a magic cow boy with a god who has the head of a falcon, in his head if he fight for a giant snake that wants to eat the sun? What do you think pal?"

he spun his arm in a circle in front of him, the cards levitated as they came out of the fan. "but if you plan to use that thing, then draw partner."

"You want to play cards? As you wish" With a flick of the wrist, he drew 5 cards due to the wind who braught them. Sand then formed a pile of plastic coins. He Put 3 piles with a 30 on them straight on the air. "We are playing poker."

ok for a moment the man was dumbstruck by the response, "for a moment there I thought you were going to blast me with sand like you did with that water demon." he said as the card flew back into his hands, he shuffled the deck "but instead of poker how about blackjack?"

"Long time I haven't played that. And yes, I know, but I need help to defeat Apophis, and blasting to pieces a potential friend isn't smart." He looked at his new cards, a 8 and a 7. "Hit me"

"so partner what you doing out here?"

"I am looking for the scepter of Nefertiti. She was widely considered the most beautiful woman in the world, and her scepter was a powerful weapon, inherited from her grandfather. On her death bed, she ordered the scepter to be hidden. Many trails have led me to south america, in the temple of Inokas." He looked at his cards. "Hit me"

"you mean that spectre from Egypt?" what's it doing out here?"

"When Nefertiti commanded it to be hidden, her fastest ship set out for west. The ship got wrecked, but the journal got sent on another ship that passed by, which was heading to Brazil. I found the journal of the captain. When I arrived in south America, I found more traces, leading me straight to the Indian temple of Inhosoubie." The dweller told. "I stay by the way."

"Its a tie. And its actually on a simmilar line: We dont go farther away, nor closer to mexico." The masked one said. He stood up and walked towards the temple "Follow me or not? We migh find some other stuff there too"

"Ah? Then what path if I may ask? Shortcut? Or skies? Or even a portal? I am curious."

he held up three fingers, he counted down, once he got to zero a demon hippo whose head was a giant spiked ball. charged out of the trees. he threw a golden glowing card. it hit the hippo shocking it with electricity. "that's why I didn't want to go down that path... yet."

"Ah? You noticed him? I though I could keep that as a surprise battle. What a shame." The hippo got stunned, and soon he attacked by slamming his head. But Seth threw his staff that turned into a huge lightning.

the hippo exploded, the cowboy nodded "not bad partner, but just for future terms you cant hide anything from the eyes of a hawk." he smirked while doing a trick to back his cards disappear and pulling a short sword out of his hat. which he used to clear a path from vines.

"Ah, Horus I presume?" He asked. A few miles later, the vines stopped, and what happend? A huge temple was seeable in a valley. "Shall we?"
